This is the second H-series Interstate to be covered. H-2 runs 8 miles from Pearl City to Wahiawa. You are probably wondering why H-1 (and H-3) are signed east-west and H-2 is signed north-south, which is the opposite of the mainland's setup, and here's the answer, plain and simple: The H-series Interstates are exempt from the normal signing conventions because of the order in which they were built, so this is the second Hawaiian Interstate to be constructed.
Here's the first exit in our northbound trek on H-2.
In eight short miles, this is the end.
A showcase of the highways in North America. Includes the 48 continental United States, Canada, Alaska and Hawaii.
