Although I-41 extends all the way to the Illinois state line, I'm focusing on its solo route from Milwaukee to Green Bay. Here's the northbound trip:
I-41 replaces US 41 on this freeway, although US 45 remains too.
US 45 splits from I-41, which continues solo towards Appleton and Green Bay.
I-41 and US 45: Together again!
And once again, they part ways.
I-41 meets US 45 for the third and last time.
WIS 441: Future I-441? It is a loop around Appleton, so this would be a good time to upgrade it into a 3di off I-41.
At this exit, you can take WIS 172 east to the original Milwaukee-Green Bay Interstate.
I-41 and I-43 meet their mutual end, but US 41 picks up north of here.
